Sections
Most pages are built from sections that you add, reorder, and configure in the theme editor. Every section shares a common set of options, and a few richer surfaces have their own guide.
Shared section options
Section titled “Shared section options”Nearly every section supports:
- Heading and subheading — an optional eyebrow, heading, and intro text.
- Color scheme — pick any scheme you defined in Theme settings.
- Layout — width, columns, and alignment where relevant.
- Section padding — top and bottom spacing, so sections sit exactly how you want.
Complex surfaces
Section titled “Complex surfaces”A few areas have more depth and their own detailed guides (arriving with the full reference):
- Header — menus, mega menu, transparent header, search, and account.
- Product page — media gallery, variants, buy buttons, and recommendations.
- Collection and filters — grid, sorting, and faceted filtering.
- Cart and drawer — line items, notes, discounts, and free shipping.
- Footer — menus, newsletter, social links, and payment icons.
Custom Liquid
Section titled “Custom Liquid”Need something bespoke? Add a Custom Liquid section or block to drop in your own markup or an app snippet, without editing theme files.
